Algonquin woman charged in plot to kill husband
An Algonquin woman remains in the Kane County Jail on $2 million bond today on charges she concocted a scheme to kill her soon-to-be-ex-husband, police said this morning.
Sherianne Remsick-Miller, 45, of 622 W. Surrey Lane, has been charged with murder solicitation and murder for hire, Sgt. Mike DesJardine said.
She and her husband are in the midst of a divorce, DesJardine said.
She was taken to the jail at 9 a.m. Saturday and will be released if someone posts 10 percent of her $2 million bond, DesJardine said.
She is scheduled to appear in court at 8 a.m. Sept. 4 at the Kane County Judicial Center in St. Charles.
