Fond memories of Jack Brickhouse

It's been 10 years since my favorite Cubs broadcaster, Jack Brickhouse, passed away.

But growing up listening to Jack, especially during rain delays, was always a baseball learning experience.

I have to wonder what Jack would have said about Kerry Wood and his blister problem during Monday's rain delays.

I imagine Jack would have said something like, "Bob Feller, another power pitcher like Kerry Wood, once used pickle juice to heal his blisters. Maybe this would help Wood as well. Though, retiring his bowling shoes and a daily regimen of manicures from Patti at Big Hair in Roscoe Village would help too."
