It is crucial that we outlaw abortions
As an American citizen who has lived in this country all my life, I cannot believe the moral deterioration of our so-called "civilized society."
What civilized society allows the killing of its weakest members, the defenseless unborn in a mother's womb?
It is science, not myth, that at conception a new human life has been created. Through conception a fertilized egg, or zygote, has all the strands of DNA found in fully grown adults. It has a full set of 46 chromosomes.
Why is it a double murder if a pregnant woman and her baby are killed, but it is not considered murder to kill a child by abortion?
In this election year, it is crucial that we elect a president, and other candidates who believe abortion is murder so that our elected leaders begin the process of changing course and outlawing such a brutal, uncivilized procedure.
How can anyone consider themselves God-fearing or even more so, Christian, if they support (or if they do nothing to oppose, as many politicians do) the killing of defenseless babies?
Wake up, fellow citizens! We cannot continue this accepted practice and be a civilized nation under any God.
No God and no religion supports the killing of children.
And you politicians who say you are personally opposed to abortion but state you can't impose your own beliefs on others are gutless cowards.
God allowed you to be elected so you have a greater responsibility to promote His desires.
We are all sinners, but to wake up every day and do nothing to try to overturn such an uncivilized, heinous practice is an affirmation each and every day to continue sinning.
I ask you to please contact your politicians and let them know you are vehemently opposed to the brutal murder of our youngest children.
In addition, don't be afraid to speak out whenever you're with friends, neighbors or even strangers and this topic comes up.
It's far better to have a human being think less of you than knowing God gave you the chance today to act to stop the killing of babies and you refused.
