One hurt in a head-on crash near North Aurora

One person was injured this morning with what was described as a head injury in a collision at Orchard Road near Interstate 88, North Aurora fire officials said.

Officials said two small cars collided about 5 a.m. and that at least one person was taken from the scene to Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora.

Kane County Sheriff Lt. Pat Gengler said no information would be available until Wednesday morning and that there was no major personal injury in the accident.
