Police: Woman kills boyfriend over alcohol
A Cook County judge has ordered a woman held in lieu of $500,000 in connection with the death of her 77-year-old boyfriend.
Prosecutors claimed Thursday that an argument over alcohol prompted 55-year-old Regina Williams to stab to death Willie Anderson. She allegedly got mad because her boyfriend was drinking her beer.
Prosecutors say Williams was with Anderson in his vehicle on Chicago's West Side when they got into an argument about alcohol. Williams then allegedly stabbed Anderson in the face, neck and chest.
After stabbing him, Williams allegedly yelled for someone to come and get Anderson because she had just killed him, according to court records. She then sat in the vehicle and drank a beer.
Anderson died at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. An autopsy Wednesday confirmed he died from multiple stab wounds, according to the medical examiner's office. His death was ruled a homicide.
