Wheaton resident Griffin Leininger joined Suburban Bank and Trust, Elmhurst, as branch manager of its new Glen Ellyn location. Leininger previously managed the Glen Ellyn locations of US Bank. He is a member of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the Yorkville Rotary. Also joining the team of the Glen Ellyn branch are: Ayeesha Desa, assistant branch manager; Tammy Greene, teller supervisor; Annabelle Silva, personal banker; Vickie Pradel, associate banker; and Sarah Paul, teller.

Paul Dominik, a registered investment adviser representative with Genworth Financial Investment Services, Mount Prospect, received the firm's Top Representative Award during the 10th annual national convention in Las Vegas. Dominik was recognized for his professional dedication and commitment to clients.

Aaron D'Costa was promoted to the newly created position of vice president, customer loyalty, for Pathway Senior Living LLC, Des Plaines. D'Costa, a 17-year seniors' housing veteran, previously served as vice president of sales and marketing for the owner, operator, manager and developer of independent and assisted living communities for seniors.

Travel agent Suzanne Dobosz from Carlson Wagonlit Travel in West Dundee was one 24 Premier Aussie Specialist travel agents who traveled to Australia's Northern Territory and Western Australia regions in June on a seven-day educational familiarization visit hosted by Tourism Australia, AAT Kings and Northern Territory Tourism Authority.

Chet Ward, president of Illinois State bank, Lake in the Hills, was reappointed to serve as chairman of the Illinois Bankers Association Illinois Bancservice corporation board of directors.

The Naperville CARES, (Community Acting in Response to Economic Stress) board elected the following new members: Carol Gavin Althoff, tutor and volunteer for Naperville District 203; Deborah Covington, associate vice president, Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago; Mary Davolt, owner of CMS Group Inc.; Chuck Nicholas, retired chief executive officer of a publicly traded corporation; and Jan Tylin, assistant to the executive director of Noonan's Child Care.

Patrick A. Salvi, managing partner of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., Chicago and Waukegan, was a guest lecturer at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He spoke on the topic of Tort Law.

Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare president and chief executive officer Leo Fronza and assistant to the president of strategic planning and special projects Gail Warner were advanced to Fellow status at the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Lex Pegues of Elgin joined DLA. Architects Ltd., as a senior architect. Previously Pegues was vice president of architecture with KDC Architects Engineers in Centennial, Colo.

Wilmette resident Michael P. Bregenzer joined Reed Smith LLP as a partner in the intellectual property group of the litigation department. Bregenzer joins the firm's Chicago office from the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis, where he has been a partner since 2004.
