Life is all about today's choices
It's the same old thing day after day. We spend our lives rushing to work and home again, constantly feeling like because we've allowed time to somehow pass us by that we're a total failure.
Call it what you want, midlife crisis, self-doubt or anxiety about growing older; we've all felt this way at some point. The problem is how do you get over it?
The dreams we had of some day starting a small business, buying that first home or just retiring early seem now to be unobtainable, overshadowed by life's realities of raising kids, becoming caregivers to our parents, feeling stuck in a dead-end job, in debt or simply being sick and tired of being sick and tired.
But the belief that life is all about the choices we make today may change our lives for the better tomorrow.
The truth is, we can spend days, weeks or hours crying about the path we chose in life or choose to do something about it.
We live vicariously through actors and entertainers of all sorts, including reality TV personalities that we love to hate.
This evening, don't be afraid to grab the remote and change the channel. Your life may depend on it.
