Garden club thanks those who helped

In late June, the Pottawatomie Garden Club held a Garden Walk in St. Charles. It was very successful, featuring beautiful gardens - some large and some small, some in the city and some in the country, some proudly landscaped by the owners and some professionally landscaped. Several hundred people attended and enjoyed the spectacular gardens. Many also enjoyed the restaurants, shopping and ambience of our lovely community.

This wonderful day did not just happen by itself. It was the end result of the hard work, donated time and cooperation of many. This letter is our thank you for many wonderful gifts of plants, manpower, signage, supplies, time and effort. We are especially grateful to Heinz Brothers Greenhouse, Shady Hill Gardens, Grimm's Hallmark East and West stores, Downtown St. Charles Partnership, Keith Smith, Blue Goose Market, Daily Herald, Francissen Landscape Group Inc., and Culligan Tri-City Soft Water. Last but not least, thank you to all the dedicated and creative members of Pottawatomie Garden Club.

Congratulations to all for a special day in St. Charles.

We are grateful for our community's support,

Co-chairs
