Would you vote for this applicant?

Suppose you were a U.S. citizen, and you were looking to vote for a President of your country.

Now suppose you heard about a candidate who never ran a company of any size; had no experience managing a budget of any size; admitted he knew very little if anything about economics or the U.S. economy, had no experience working with international companies, didn't know the difference between Sunni and S'hia, but did have several relationships with financial people who have prison records.

Would you even interview this applicant, much less vote for him?

I think not.

But that's exactly what the Republicans are wishing we'd do with John McCain't.

Not scary!!

Just a sad set of choices in 2008.
