Oak Brook settles lawsuit

Lorig Construction's insurance carrier has offered to settle Oak Brook's claims for $270,000 due to a damaged 12-inch water main in January 2002.

The incident happened when Lorig caused certain temporary sheet piling to be driven into Salt Creek during a construction project, which resulted in a significant loss of water.

The lawsuit was filed in 2005.
