Talk show hosts do not preach hate

I think you do a huge miss-service in printing contributions which make "hateful" accusations about certain people without any proof being given which backs up that accusation.

Karen Wagner (Fence Post, Aug. 17) suggests that "prominent talk show hosts known to encourage hate for liberals" actually do exist and are so behaving.

We listen to talk radio much of the day as we go about our chores, etc., and never have heard anyone encourage their listeners or callers or whoever to "hate liberals." Tom and Helen Shantz
