Peterson's attorney says wife talked of leaving

Drew Peterson's attorney says a man who met with Stacy Peterson told authorities she talked about leaving her husband the day before she disappeared.

Joel Brodsky says an affidavit to search Peterson's home supports his client's claims that his wife ran away.

Brodsky says documents show a college classmate of Stacy Peterson told police they'd met on October 27th and Peterson said she "wanted out" of her marriage.

The man told police he advised her to not use credit cards so she wouldn't be found. Stacy Peterson allegedly said if she left, she'd go while Drew Peterson slept.

Brodsky didn't reveal the man's name. He says he got the affidavit Wednesday as part of discovery in a pending felony gun case.
