Ali attends Chicago memorial for longtime manager

Muhammad Ali and Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan were among those paying respects to Ali's former manager and the son of a former minister of the Nation of Islam.

Jabir Herbert Muhammad was remembered Saturday on Chicago's South Side after he died Monday at age 79 after heart surgery in Chicago. His father was Elijah Muhammad, who died in 1975.

The Detroit native managed Ali's boxing career from 1966 until 1981 and managed his post-fighting career until 1991. He went on to a career in business. On Saturday, more than 200 people crowded a banquet room to honor Muhammad.

Ali's wife, Lonnie, calls Muhammad a big brother to her husband.
