Obama should take blame for deficit
Sen. Obama has stated that he won't repeat "George Bush's failed economic policies" but he's called for another round of economic stimulus checks, a Bush economic policy that Democrats say is now working.
It was also reported that the economic stimulus checks contributed to the all-time high budget deficit.
Obama blames the budget deficit on Bush and Wall Street.
Excuse me, Sen. Obama, doesn't Congress vote on the budget before the president approves the budget? Sen. Obama, are you not a member of Congress?
The great communicator Obama has an opportunity to influence Congress and demonstrate his leadership skills by confronting the Democratic-controlled Congress to get spending under control. Instead, he runs around the globe telling everyone what a great leader he will be when he's president and faults everyone but Congress for this country's economic woes.
Blame Bush all you want, Mr. Obama, but until you start accepting some of the blame yourself and confront people in your own party, you won't get my vote in November.
