White Sox to honor Baines

One of the top hitters in Chicago White Sox history will be honored Sunday when the team unveils a life-size sculpture of Harold Baines in the plaza above the seats in center field.

He had three separate stints with the White Sox and Baltimore Orioles during his career.

Baines played in 2,830 games during his 22-year career.

He finished with 2,866 hits, 384 homers and a .289 batting average. He also had 1,628 RBIs.

He hit 221 of his homers and drove in 981 of his runs while with the White Sox.

He had his No. 3 jersey retired by the White Sox in 1989.
