Four injured when car crashes into Starbucks
Four people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a Starbucks coffee shop on Chicago's North Side.
Both the 56-year-old driver and her 24-year-old passenger were hurt in Sunday afternoon's accident. The other two people injured were inside the store.
Witnesses say the driver was trying to turn into the shopping center where the coffee shop is located when she lost control of her car and plowed into the shop, shattering a wall of windows.
Police say the driver, whose name was not immediately released, was cited for making an improper right turn, negligent driving and lack of insurance.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
