Is McClellan a traitor?

How interesting William Parrot characterizes former Bush Press Secretary Scott McClellan a "traitor" for publishing a book exposing the administration's manipulative, deceptive practice of gathering and molding false information to justify wars, promote torture, set up illegal detention centers in Guantanamo Bay, mislead the public on its preparedness for national emergencies and refuse to be held accountable for any of its destructive public policies from energy to the economy.

I guess Mr. Parrot would prefer Scott McClellan proceed in the style of one Oliver North, who committed illegal acts of deception toward our country yet presents himself as a Christian and a hero with more character than the rest of us? Or G. Gordon Liddy, another stalwart character convicted of crimes but who claims he reports only to a higher order? Or Chuck Colson.

The list of people who initiated or supported criminal acts in government and turned those acts into fame and fortune is unfortunately long. There are so many people from the Bush administration who should have spoke up sooner against this corrupt regime. But people were afraid to speak up, because like any dictator, Bush would not tolerate dissension. The only sad thing about McLellan's position is that he may have helped ruin our country before saying anything about it. Somehow about 30 percent of our citizenry who support men like George Bush and Dick Cheney just don't get that.
