District 118 superintendent honored

Wauconda Unit District 118 Superintendent Daniel Coles has been named the 2016 Superintendent of Distinction by the Lake Region of the Illinois Association of School Administrators. Coles will be honored at an awards luncheon April 21 in Springfield. Twenty-one superintendents will be honored. Coles' nomination included praise for improved test scores and his creation of "a positive climate for learning," according to a news release.
