Is 'nuclear' that hard to pronounce?

My jaw dropped in disbelief when I read, "Liberal television can't even spell", by Robert Kuhn, in the July 15 Fence Post.

First, I was struck by how far Mr. Kuhn had to reach to find something wrong with "that left-leaning major network."

Second, as illogical as his logic is, it does make sense if he applies it to something that isn't so petty and irrelevant.

For example, we have a president who can't pronounce "nuclear."

Now that's a word that should be pronounced correctly at all times because when our leader can't pronounce it correctly, we look really stupid to the rest of the world.

I hope Mr. Kuhn joins me in asking the president to find another line of work, the sooner the better.
