Palatine man admits to flashing kids

A 44-year-old Palatine man has been placed on 30 months' probation after he pleaded guilty to felony sexual exploitation of a child charges in DuPage County.

Ronald J. Phillips also must register as a convicted sex offender and was ordered to serve 120 days in jail, with credit for time already served.

Phillips exposed himself to children May 26 at the Holiday Inn Mayan Adventure Water Park in Elmhurst. He pleaded guilty Tuesday. It was his third such offense.
