Beanbag tossing classic at Soldier Field

They held a world championship of sorts at Chicago's Soldier Field this weekend and, needless to say, the Chicago Bears were not part of it.

The big event Saturday was called the Soldier Field Cornhole Classic, and it was a contest in beanbag tossing. Competitors in the popular Chicago-area sport aim their beanbags at a hole in a wooden ramp precisely 27 feet away. Many achieve balance by holding a can of beer in their non-throwing hand.

The favorite Saturday was 37-year-old Matt Guy, who is known to some of his fans as "the Tiger Woods of bags." Guy lived up to his nickname by winning both the singles and doubles brackets for total prize money of $900.
