Arlington Hts. fest fight leads to charges

A 17-year-old boy faces aggravated battery charges after a brawl during Frontier Days in Arlington Heights.

Julio Cruz, 4912 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows, was arrested after allegedly attacking a 16-year-old boy he knew from school Friday evening at Recreation Park.

The 16-year-old suffered a fractured nose and required stitches to his lip.

Bond for Cruz was set at $25,000 Saturday following a hearing at the Rolling Meadows courthouse. His next court date is July 28.
