Sen. Gramm, we've got reason to whine

Republican Sen. Phil Gramm is correct when he says that "we're a nation of whiners."

For eight years, average Americans have been whining that our "conservative" administration should be balancing our budget, just like everyday folks have to.

We've been whining that money spent on Bush's ego-trip war should have been spent in our country.

We've been whining that our economic policies have only benefited the rich for the last eight years and average Americans need to have the playing field leveled to survive.

I can see how Gramm has a rosy view of our economy.

He has a job that unfortunately can't be out-sourced to China or India. He has a health insurance plan that is second to none in the entire world. He has a generous and properly funded pension plan that can't be wiped out by business conditions or bankruptcy, unlike the rest of us whiners.

Yeah, as a senator, it's good to be on the American Citizens public dole, ain't it?
