Flyers top Joliet in 12

Despite an eight-run explosion from the Joliet JackHammers in the bottom of the first inning, the Schaumburg Flyers won their second extra-inning affair of the series by a final score of 12-10 in 12 innings on Thursday night.

After Joliet scored early,

The Flyers rallied against Joliet starter and Northern League all-star David Moraga with seven of their own in the top of the second, highlighted by Lance Koenig's two-run triple.

Schaumburg's 12 runs and 18 hits tied season highs.
