FBI nabs 6 in alleged bank robbery, kidnapping
Six people have been arrested in an alleged robbery and kidnapping at a suburban Oak Lawn bank.
The FBI announced the arrests today. Special agent Ross Rice says the people were detained after a holdup on Thursday at a TCF branch bank in the Chicago suburb. Details were not immediately available.
Rice also declined to identify those arrested until after an initial court appearance Friday afternoon at which agents and prosecutors were expected to file complaints.
The court appearances were scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Cole.
