Momentum builds for concealed carry
I have noticed in the newspapers, the opinions of people who have written to the editors have been overwhelmingly Pro-Supreme Court decision (against handgun bans) and they seem to be getting more and more enthusiastic.
I'm beginning to think that in the not-too-distant future, we may have a chance at concealed carry in Illinois.
It will become a hot topic in future elections and I don't think we'll have to worry about Blagojevich for another term.
The people of Illinois (and Chicago even) are finally waking up and realizing the time has come for concealed carry.
They have seen the utter failure of gun bans, the double standards of elected officials and the outright smugness of those officials who continue to tell us all they know what's best for us.
Between the NRA and the ISRA efforts, which are suddenly very popular, there will be a landslide of information available that had been previously swept under the carpet by the media i n the hopes of keeping Illinois residents ignorant to the truth.
So I seem to sense the sun is rising for our side and will finally shine the light of truth on the Land of Lincoln.
The people of Illinois may finally get to experience what being a citizen, instead of a subject, is like.
