One person injured in three car accident on I-88
Illinois state police officials said a three car accident reduced the Reagan Tollway near North Aurora to a crawl early Thursday.
State police officials said one person received minor injuries in the accident at 6:33 a.m., and was transported to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Aurora.
Police said two cars were stopped in traffic when a third car ran into a second car. The force of the accident caused the second car to push into the first car.
One east bound lane on I-88 near Orchard Road was shut down for about 30 minutes to tend to the accident.
