Voters must send state a message

Wonders never cease!

Our governor slashed the budget, but he forgot to delete the salary increases for himself and the dysfunctional legislators.

They do not deserve raises and should return their salaries for the last couple of years.

The governor, speaker of the House and president of the Senate need to be voted out of office.

It would take too long to initiate recall proceedings, but representative and senate membership can institute proceedings to impeach or replace this inept leadership.

The House and Senate members have proved themselves unresponsive to the needs of their constituents and are dysfunctional in their duties.

Half of the representatives and a third of the senators will seek re-election in the fall.

These officials must be held accountable for their action and the actions of both party's leadership.

If they are not part of the solution, they are part of the problem.

A strong message must be sent by the voters that we are sick of the manner our state is run.

The trust issue they should be concerned with is the trust of them by the citizens of this state, which is sadly lacking.
