Elgin did right with bike path

I really like the new bike path on Walnut in Elgin. I live a half block south of Walnut and have not noticed an appreciable difference in the number of cars parking on my street. Maybe to further resolve the problems of parking on the side streets of Elgin, we should look into either banning overnight parking on streets or look into getting vehicle stickers so we can control how many cars are attached to a single residence. I think the city council did right on their rebuilding of Walnut. While not all the decisions made toward growth have been ideal, this one they got right. Let's continue to grow in Elgin - even if we have a few growing pains along the way.
