Hoffman chamber to help families with school supplies
The Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce invites you to join its members in the 2008 "Tools for Success" program which provides new school supplies to children in the community who may otherwise start school empty-handed.
Donated school supplies will be distributed anonymously to children through school district personnel in Schaumburg Elementary School District 54, Palatine Elementary School District 15, Elgin Unit School District 46 and High School District 211, which serves Schaumburg and Palatine townships.
For the last 13 years, thousands of students have benefited from the generous donations of local resident and business people. When you're buying school supplies for your own children, pick up some of the following for the needy children who reside in the community: three-hole punched loos leaf paper, pencils with erasers, three-ring binders, colored markers, scientific model calculators, glue, geometry construction compasses and protractors, ball point pens in black, blue and red, spiral-bound notebooks, pocket folders, rulers, scissors and backpacks.
Donations may be dropped off in bins through Aug. 15 at the following locations: Hoffman Estates: B & F. Technical Code Services Inc., 2401 W. Hassell Road; First American Bank, 365 W.
