Missing Oswego boy reportedly found

A missing 3-year-old Oswego boy was found safe and sound today, according to two published reports.

Ryan Flake went missing around 8:30 p.m. Monday from his home at Eagle View Lane and Reservation Road in Oswego, according to Oswego police.

"We went out in the backyard and it was probably five minutes and I said, "Where did Ryan go?" And we started going that is not unusual. He disappears and we usually find him in a couple of minutes. After we didn't find him for a while we got the neighbors involved," said Read Flake, father.

"Ryan is really a quiet, reserved child. He doesn't talk very much so I think he is the kind of kid that if we wanders off he is not going to seek out an adult for help," said Sarah Flake, Ryan's aunt.

The Chicago Sun-Times and WBBM=780 were reporting this morning that he was found safe and sound but taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Any one with information is asked to Oswego police or the Kendall County Sheriff's office.
