One hurt in Glenview accident

A motorcyclist was injured this morning at the intersection of Lehigh Avenue and Spruce Drive in Glenview, fire officials said Thursday.

Deputy Chief Ralph Ensign said a 24 year old male was driving the motorcycle at 7:52 a.m., but he was unsure if the motorcycle collided with a car.

He said the cyclist was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and is listed as a level 1 trauma victim with life threatening injuries.

Ensign said the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.

A crash investigation team was on the scene of the accident and closed down the intersection during the investigation.
