Fabyan Villa Museum offers days for kids
Join in the special Kids' Days at the Fabyan Villa Museum every-other Thursday at 2 p.m. In addition to the I Spy and Mystery Artifact family self-guided tours featured each week, the following hands-on, special activities are planned for the following dates:
June 26: In Japanese Culture, discover the fascinating world of the Samurai.
July 10: In the "Treasure Hunt," you will never believe what's waiting to be uncovered.
July 24: In "Mystery Mummies," do you know how to write like an Egyptian? See if hieroglyphics can solve the ancient puzzle.
Aug. 7: In "Then and Now," take an extraordinary trip back in time.
Aug. 14: In the "Treasure Hunt," you will never guess what's waiting to be uncovered.
The Fabyan Villa Museum is also open on Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. for architectural tours, and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4:30 p.m. for Fabyan history and architecture tours. The Japanese Garden is open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Villa and Garden are owned by the Fabyan Forest Preserve and operated by Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley.
