Sheriff defends stun-gun use
The Butler County, Ohio, sheriff's office says an Oxford police officer did not use unreasonable force on a Chicago man who died after the officer jolted him with a stun gun. Twenty-four-year-old Kevin Piskura died five days after Officer Geoff Robinson used a Taser to subdue him April 19th outside a bar in Oxford. Police say Piskura fought with bouncers and the officer. A coroner established that Piskura's blood alcohol level was 0.319, nearly four times the legal limit for drivers in Ohio. The cause of death has not been released. Oxford is about 40 miles northwest of Cincinnati.
