Only Republicans use stock market

Frank Sears of Buffalo Grove wrote a letter (published Tuesday) implying that only the devil himself would take Social Security money and invest it in the stock market.

You can tell a couple things about Frank:

1) He's never invested in the stock market and never had a 401K.

And 2) he's obviously a Democrat.

But please don't worry. Investing part of your Social Security money was always only an option. You would not be required to do it.

In fact, this option was really only meant for Republicans, who have invested and have had 401Ks and are generally more knowledgeable about the benefits of the market.

So rest easy, your money will be safe in your tried and true "mattress fund." You know, the one Congress has access to.
