Carol Stream fest pays tribute to classic rockers

Carol Stream's annual four-day summer festival returns to the Carol Stream Town Center this weekend with a full lineup of music, tons of carnival rides, and entertainment for both young and old. Daily Herald Staff Writer Jack Komperda asked Carol Stream Assistant Village Manager Chris Oakley to tell us about the event.

A. Thursday: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday: 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A. Ross Ferraro Town Center, located at Gary Avenue and Lies Road, Carol Stream

Q. Is there a charge to enter?

A. Admission is free

Q. Where is the best place to park?

A. On-site and overflow parking located at Glenbard North High School lot.

Q. What kind of food will be there?

A. Q. Do you know what the ticket cost will be?

A. $2 - Kid Ride, $3 - Intermediate, $4 Adult Ride. Discount Unlimited Ride Wristbands are $20 on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

There also will be a free Carnival for Special Needs Residents & their Family Members/Caregivers June 7 from 10 a.m. to noon.
