Sugar Grove fest official hide treasure

Attention treasure hunters.

The hand-painted corn boil medallion has been hidden somewhere within the Sugar Grove area. Whoever finds the medallion first will receive a reward and will be recognized at the July 25 corn boil opening ceremony.

To follow the weekly "medallion clues," search the Sugar Grove Corn Boil website (www.sugargrovecornboil.org), the Village of Sugar Grove website (www.sugar-grove.il.us). The Sugar Grove Public Library will have printed copies on hand and clues on its website (www.sugargrove.lib.il.us). A new clue will be issued each Thursday until the medallion is found.

General clues: The medallion is not hidden on private, residential, industrial, commercial or retail property; agricultural property; nor on a church, cemetery or golf course property. Nor is the medallion inside a building.

Recovery of the medallion will not require any tools.
