Pols must address global warming

With Al Gore's endorsement of Barack Obama, I'm pleased to see politicians talking about global warming.

For too long, our politicians have been sitting on their hands when it comes to this issue.

In the meantime, my friends and neighbors are already acting on the issue by using energy more efficiently in their homes.

City and state governments are acting too by investing in clean energy and cracking down on polluters.

And local businesses and large corporations alike are investing in the real solutions to global warming.

Our candidates for Congress should commit to doing their part too.

The threat that global warming poses to our way of life is real. And we want action from our government.

This isn't a partisan issue, and anybody running for Congress should commit to being a leader in the fight to stop global warming.
