Foster helping to ease gas problem

Our high gas prices are not going to be saved by drilling for the next 30 years in ANWR, Saudi Arabia or anywhere else. This is a long-term problem that could have been fixed if we had leadership in Washington for the last generation, which recognized our access to oil is limited, at best.

Now we're left with tough options; but, fortunately, we sent someone who will work for real change to Washington. I am very happy that Rep. Bill Foster (a Geneva Democrat) recognizes we are not going to permanently drill our way out of this problem. In Congress, he's working on short-term solutions to lower gas prices (thank you very much) while also voting to make sure America pursues alternative energy sources that will decrease our dependence on foreign oil.

Foster is doing what is right for my family now and for the future -- which is why I sent him to Congress in the first place.
