Speak out against this administration
I am very scared for the future of our country. This administration is taking away our constitutional rights, one by one. They chip away at our rights so we won't notice, but once they start chipping, larger pieces will start breaking off until all we'll have left are crumbs.
The problem, as I see it, is we have an administration that does not believe in government. That's like having a doctor who doesn't believe in medicine, a teacher who doesn't believe in education or police officers who don't believe in law and order. It is ludicrous!
What this administration does believe in is corporations. When the administration and most of our representatives in Congress make decisions, they're thinking of what's best for corporations rather than what's best for the country and its citizens. Many of them owe corporations for getting them where they are today and feel they have to pay their debt to them by passing laws in the corporations' favor.
Actually, they are public servants and they are indebted to you and me, because we are the people for whom they are working. According to polls, about 75 percent of U.S. citizens are unhappy with how this administration is running the country, yet only a small portion do anything about it.
If all of us speak loudly enough, we'll get the results we want. So, wake up and speak up!! Call and e-mail your representatives in Congress. Write letters to your local newspapers. Talk to your friends, co-workers and family about the direction in which this administration is taking our country and encourage them to take action too. It's not enough to just complain about it -- you must do something about it. Do it now, before they take away your right to!
