Gitmo prisoners are terrorists

I have been reading about the abuse and torture at Gitmo and I don't understand how the media can blame the military for this.

People, we are involved in a war! Not just a war with Iraq and Afghanistan, but a war against terrorism anywhere.

We have terrorists all over and if we can gain information that will help us in this war, it would be our duty to gain it any way we can.

The people at Gitmo must have been doing something suspicious to have been arrested in the first place.

Do you really think they would not hesitate to use torture or abuse on us if they had the chance? It has been proved time and time again.

Did we forget 9/11 when people were used as human bombs and took down the Twin Towers in New York?

Did the terrorists think of the innocent people who died and their loved ones?

We have not been in a war like this before where you don't know who the enemy is. That is why we have to detain these prisoners and try to get them to tell us what they know.

Ask the World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War veterans who were P.O.W. how they were treated.

These prisoners should be tried by the military courts and not by the civil courts.

If they are innocent of the charges against them, they will be released. If they are not, they must be contained so they have no communication with other terrorists.
