Cast vote against Obama, abortions

As we celebrated Fathers Day this month, I think of the blessings almighty God has provided to our family.

Gifts of seven beautiful children and 20 precious grandchildren. Truly children are a blessing from our Lord, and not the problem some proclaim.

Presidential candidate Barack Obama strongly disagrees. His chilling statement saying he would not deny his own daughter her "choice" in an unplanned pregnancy, calling this grandchild "a punishment."

This should surprise no one as Obama pledged in 2007, before a Planned Parenthood crowd, "to sign into law "the freedom of choice act" if elected.

This would make Roe v Wade a federal law, and overturn the many state and federal laws now limiting abortions.

Laws such as minor children being taken for abortions without parental notification. Laws that stopped the horrific partial birth and live birth abortions. Laws to allow your tax dollars being sent overseas to pay for abortions. Promises to expand abortion coverage to Medicaid recipients with tax dollars.

If your vote helps to elect Sen. Obama as president, your vote will have facilitated the dramatic increase in deaths of hundreds of thousands of unborn children in the U.S. and millions across the world.

Sen. John McCain has a solid voting record against abortion. Vote for life in November. You will never regret it.
