Bicycle Club of Lake County "Singles Ride": 9 a.m. June 28, July 26, Aug. 23 and Sept. 27, Meet at the Old School Forest Preserve in Libertyville, St. Mary's Road., 1 mile north of Route 60 at the "Trails" parking lot. 12-15 mile trail ride at a "conversational" pace of 12 mph on crushed limestone trails for singles of all ages. No one will be left behind. Helmets are required. There will be an opportunity for socializing after the ride. Northern Lake County Quilters' Guild: 6:30 p.m. visitation and refreshments, 7 p.m. meeting, first Wednesday of each month, Lake Villa/Antioch Township Center, on Deep Lake Road just north of Grass Lake Road, Lake Villa. Guest fee is $3. July's program is a "Quilter's Schoolhouse." Six different techniques will be taught in small groups, and participants will be able to rotate through all six by the end of the evening. Knights Pancake Breakfast and Bingo: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 4, St Joseph the Worker Church, 181 W Dundee Road, Wheeling. The Knights of Columbus will sponsor a pancake breakfast and bingo cards will be 50 cents each and all games will be split the pot. Bingo proceeds will benefit the Wheeling Senior Center. The pancake breakfast, consisting of all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs, will also include orange juice, coffee and a sweet table.
