No one has made a good war yet
This is a critique by a mature (85) movie watcher of the movie critics on your staff. You probably utilize four or five different critics, some, obviously still wet behind the ears. What troubles me is the 3-star rating Dann Gire gives to Phil Donahue's "Body of War." This production is strictly Donahue, the anti-war agitator of 40 years ago. Like Jimmy Carter, he should crawl back to his millionaire's rocking chair and watch the world roll by.
No one has invented a good war yet, and Donahue just prolongs the agony. Individuals suffer and many die heroes. That's war. He still doesn't get it, but some wars are justified to save entire populations and to free nations from their oppressors. America is the world leader in freeing people, by the hundreds of millions. But Donahue doesn't dwell much on that.
Doesn't anyone have the guts to describe, publicize, and rate the movie, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" a movie for our time? It has real substance.
