McBush will drive enemies mad, gas up

Mr. Ernie De Salvo's letter "Be careful what you wish for" June 4 was attacking a letter wrote by Mr. Sears' May 29 letter "Bush does not deserve our respect." Mr. DeSalvo states that if Mr. Obama gets elected, we will see higher taxes, more liberal judges and my favorite, enthusiasm from leaders of Hamas and Al Quaida.

Chicken little ran around saying "The sky is falling." That never happened. Profits predicated the world would end in the year 2000. That never happened. Bush predicated he would make Osama Bin Laden pay for the disaster of 9/11. That never happened.

So Mr. De Salvo, unless you have some concrete proof, I doubt if your prediction will come to light either. These last 8 years of rule with "the guy people would like to sit down and have a beer with" caused such a hangover that no Alka Selzer in the world will be able to cure it. Your ignorance of implying that if Obama gets elected that leaders of Hamas and Al Quaida will have some influence on our country is just pure propaganda. If your man McBush gets elected you can be sure that Hamas and Al Quaida will have influence on our country. Osama Bin Laden wants us out of Iraq because he believes America should not be in the holy land, and with McBush -- or I should say McCain -- promising to keeping us in Iraq for the next 100 years is only going to anger him more to the point that he will keep raising the price of a barrel of oil and we will be paying $10 a gallon of gas at the pump. McCain wants Obama to tour Iraq to see the progress the surge is having and the progress that is being made there, but says nothing about the progress in New Orleans and the problems in this country that is NOT being made.

So keep spreading your propaganda, Mr. De Salvo. You may get something you don't want to wish for.
