Quit complaining, just cut the grass

In your Neighbor Fencepost on June 16 Mr. Donald H. Lamb complained about a notice of a violation for not mowing his lawn.

Stop complaining! One of your neighbors had to call and complain in order for you to get the notice. You should be embarrassed. If all of your neighbors mowed their lawns then you should have also. NO excuses. You should have made time.

I am glad to see that a municipality does give out these notices. I live in an unincorporated area where Bill Peterson is the township supervisor and he does not enforce our ordinance he only passes the buck.

I congratulate Wheeling for enforcing the ordinance. Now if we can only get the other municipalities to enforce this type of ordinance also we would have nicer neighborhoods.
