Two crashes at same Arlington Heights intersection Friday
Two accidents occurred within 40 minutes at the same intersection in Arlington Heights Friday afternoon.
Sgt. Rich Guasselin said a 2003 Jeep heading northwest on Rand, near Dryden, was cut off by a southwest-bound vehicle making a left turn at 4:12 p.m. The driver of the Jeep swerved, lost control, hit the curb and rolled over.
All four occupants were properly belted in and unharmed. No citations were issued.
At 4:50, while the Jeep was being righted, a gaper rear-ended the car in front of her, setting off a small chain reaction, Guasselin said. Again, no one was injured.
This Jeep ended up on its side in a crash at Rand Road and Dryden in Arlington Heights Friday afternoon.
