Movie 'Expelled' recommended

My husband and I recently saw the new movie "Expelled." In it, Ben Stein interviews scientists from the United States and abroad who have been released from their positions for merely questioning Darwinism and/or suggesting the possibility of Intelligent Design.

Well-researched and informative, this film was also entertaining and understandable by the average viewer. It convincingly exposes the reality that -- in most situations -- science invites exploration, inquiry, and open dialog only if evolution is the accepted theory for the origin of life.

Most important, I believe, the movie succeeds as a graphic reminder that some of our basic and precious freedoms are being seriously compromised. I highly recommend "Expelled" for older children, teens, and adults.
