Fireplaces aren't only allergy causes

I had to respond to Mr.Art Dulan of Palatine and his comments to my previous letter on wood burning fireplaces.

Mr. Dulan and Mr. Dubinsky, who started this debate, fail to recognize that there are other people that have allergies that can cause severe reactions too.

Yet, can we go after every person that offends us?

I have allergies from colognes, perfume, and strong household cleaning products( like Lysol) that cause me distress.

Am I to tell my neighbors that even their perfume scented fabric softener that permeates from their dryer vents bother me?

No, I won't. I respect everyone's right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, not as Mr. Dulan put it, my pursuit of liberty.

And yes, we have a fireplace, but don't use it every night. Maybe I am more tolerant of others rights and do what I have to to not be a complainer .
