Priest needed to show compassion

This is in response to what Father Reszel did not do to comfort a grieving family (Burt Constable column, April 24).

Shame on you, Father, for not even considering this family's request.

Even if it may have interfered with another funeral, could you not have scheduled two in the same day at different times?

I am so happy that another priest found the compassion to help this family.

I hope St. Mary's Church will remember what your pastor did or should I say, did not do.
